Phone and camera clips are often encoded in one orientation with a separate instruction telling players how to display them. When that instruction is wrong, FFmix can fix the display rotation and copy the existing video and audio streams unchanged. That makes the operation nearly instant and avoids generation loss.

Does flipping a video also stay lossless?
No. Horizontal or vertical mirroring changes the pixels, so ffmpeg must re-encode the video. FFmix distinguishes that from metadata-only rotation.
What if another app ignores the rotation metadata?
Use a pixel rotation workflow instead. It takes longer because it re-encodes, but the orientation is then baked into every frame.
